About 3 days ago I noticed a white spot near my lip. I reckon it may be cold sore in the making. It’s been 3 days even if and hasn’t gotten any worse so my question is how long does it take until blisters start showing up.

By the way, cold sores are embarassing

My boyfriend started getting a cold sore friday (10/23) and it had started to scab over all week and days gone by ([wednesday]10/28) we were wrestling and the scab fell off. We have not kissed for nearly a week. When is it safe to? I know I already have the virus from kissing him when he doesn’t have a cold sore, but when is it considered okay to kiss after a break out?

This morning after i ate breakfast, my top lip started itching burning and swelling in one spot. I thought it could be a allergic reaction but I dont reckon so. The itching and burning is not so terrible anymore but there is still a bump where the swelling started. I dont normally get cold sores, but im aware that anyone can have a reaction to the herpes virus. I was just wondering if the symptoms sound like a cold sore or fever blister.

I have a cold sore on my lip and it hurts alot whenever I open my mouth. When I don’t open my mouth, it still hurts. I’m using Abreva,by the way. My parents say it’s from being really tired and from staying up all nighttime at my cousins house for a few days straight. Any advice on how to deal with the pain.
